When on holiday at Californie Plage, it has never been so easy to enjoy the pleasures of the sea. Two pretty little beaches of fine sand border the campsite area and are accessible at any time of the day – you just have to take a direct path to get there!

Located on the wild coast and bordered by a few small rocks, the two coves adjoining our Californie Plage Vias campsite are the perfect place to have a great time and unwind during your holidays. Families are particularly fond of these pretty, sun-drenched beaches for sunbathing, splashing around or even getting down to building a few sand castles. Would you like to spend your holiday as close as possible to these sparkling waters? We recommend that you choose one of our pitches with a sea view!

What could be better than sampling regional products with the sound of the waves in the background? The Beach, the restaurant at our Vias Plage seaside campsite is located as close as possible to the Mediterranean and offers an excellent menu of salads, fish, grilled meats, ice creams and cocktails!
Vias Plage, a pretty little seaside resort in the Hérault…
On holiday in Vias you benefit from a very inviting Mediterranean climate throughout the summer. This gives you many opportunities to explore the other beaches in the region!
La Farinette beach is one of the most popular places for campers! It is ideal for families, and is located not far from the town centre and has many assets such as its fine sand and its gentle slope down to the sea. Supervised throughout the season, it is also very pleasant to swim there knowing that the water is regularly around 25°… Note that the beach also has easy access for people with reduced mobility!
Leave with sand in your shoes and your head full of memories!
Whether towards Portiragnes or Cap-d’Agde, many outstanding beaches are waiting for you to enjoy. On one side, you will find La Redoute beach with its beach volleyball court, as well as Le Bosquet beach, with its pretty little adjacent forest.
On the other, Richelieu beach has plenty of water sports facilities to keep you entertained!
The western beach of Portiragnes is undoubtedly the wildest. This is very pleasant for walking, and your four-legged friends are allowed! It would be impossible to name all the beaches of interest in the Hérault, but obviously our Vias campsite is the perfect starting point to discover them all!
