The Californie Plage campsite is located in the south of Hérault. Beside the Mediterranean sea, it has direct access to two beautiful little sandy coves which are ideal for sunbathing and for cooling off in the Mediterranean!
As well as its idyllic location, you also enjoy a verdant resort setting with lovely flowers during your holiday. We are particularly committed to the protection of the natural environment and maintain our green spaces on a daily basis with the greatest care.
In this quiet and wooded setting, our accommodation units have everything you could want! They are categorised into 5 different ranges to meet all needs, and they all benefit from a cosy, well-equipped interior and a pleasant exterior with terrace. Are you going with several people? We can offer a “tribu” cottage which can accommodate up to 12 people and is equipped with a private jacuzzi on the terrace!
Of course, we don’t forget our holidaymakers who prefer traditional camping! We have 167 pitches ranging in size from 80 to 140 square metres. To ensure maximum comfort and privacy, all our plots are separated by hedges and trees and there is also an electricity connection for each of them. As our Vias campsite is located by the sea, we are fortunate to also be able to offer you superb pitches with exceptional views of the Mediterranean! Imagine…falling asleep every night to the sound of the waves…
A Languedoc Roussillon aqua park campsite
with a spectacular setting!
This is undoubtedly one of the most popular places in our Vias Plage campsite! Our aqua park was renovated in 2020 and has multiple facilities for leisure and relaxation. Inspired by the pirate world, it includes a superb outdoor area with three pools, a hot tub area and a thrilling slide!
For the enjoyment of our little sailors, a fun water play area with fountains, water jets and paddling pool is provided! And there is a large sunbed area beside this space so you can watch them.
In anticipation of (rare) cooler days during the summer, we also have a beautiful aqua park area with a heated swimming pool. For all your other leisure activities our campsite has a variety of sports facilities such as a multi-sports ground, fitness equipment and even an archery range! Near the Black Pearl bar-restaurant there is a games room with pool, table football, pinball and video games.
Throughout your stay at our Hérault seaside campsite, we organise many activities for family fun. You can therefore enjoy a range of sports and recreational activities in the campsite such as water polo tournaments, aquagym or introduction to archery. Children can spend time in the kids club and discover the special pirate day where games, themed meals and entertainment events are on the programme! And to finish on a high note, there are shows, concerts, karaoke events and dances organised every evening.

The whole team at our 4-star campsite has one goal in mind: that you have everything you need! Therefore we offer many hire services ranging from bicycles for exploring the region to televisions or board games for your family evenings… And as we know that every minute of your holiday is precious, we also provide you with a mini-market with regional products, fruit and vegetables as well as beach items! On site, you will also find a bakery outlet enabling you to enjoy fresh bread and croissants throughout the day!
No need to worry about where you’ll eat during your holiday! At the Vias Californie Plage site, you can enjoy two dining options to tickle the taste buds of the whole family! The first one, the Black Pearl is located in the centre of the campsite. This restaurant will captivate you in the world of pirates and provides tasty meals available for dining in or to take away! The restaurant opens in the morning, and you can also choose the half-board option which includes breakfast and lunch or evening meal. The second restaurant, the Beach, is, as its name suggests, located on the edge of the beach. It offers Mediterranean cuisine with regional specialties of grilled fish and meat.
Our campsite in Vias is ideally located in the heart of the Occitanie region, so you have a privileged starting point for discovering the various tourist sites. Sail along the iconic Canal du Midi, visit the magnificent city of Montpellier, swim at one Sète’s beaches, explore the amphitheatre in Nîmes… There are so many things to do!
